SKYWORTH Solar Deepens Local Execution Across Key Global Markets
SKYWORTH Solar is moving into a deeper phase of international expansion in 2026, combining market development with the local teams, partner networks, service infrastructure and delivery capabilities needed to operate for the long term.
During the first half year of 2026, the company has established new operating nodes, expanded local partner and service networks, and strengthened regional logistics. At the same time, it is broadening its business beyond distributed PV development to cover residential and commercial solar, energy storage, digital operations and intelligent energy management.
The approach prioritizes operating depth over market count: concentrating resources in selected markets, proving local delivery and developing a model that can support long-term growth.
Deepening local operations in Southeast Asia
The company’s office in Bangkok now serves as its strategic regional hub, coordinating market development, technical support, supply-chain resources and partner engagement across Thailand and neighbouring markets.

In Vietnam, following its market launch in Ho Chi Minh City on April, the company has built a network of more than 20 local agents and established nationwide coverage through four service providers. And set up a local operating entity to support partners and respond more quickly to market needs. In Malaysia, cooperation agreements with 16 local enterprises have created an initial channel base for residential, C&I solar and storage solutions. These channel and service foundations are already yielding results in the residential market: SKYWORTH Solar has completed Solar installations for more than 100 household in Southeast Asia.

Beyond the residential market, the same regional operating base is supporting delivery across a wider range of applications. In the first half of 2026, SKYWORTH Solar commissioned commissioned the 47.12 kWp Xtreme C&I rooftop project in Thailand under a PPA model, delivered a 7.8 kWp solar carport with 20.48 kWh of battery storage in Cebu in collaboration with a local partner, and advanced a 4.7 MW solar and 9.4 MWh storage project in Myanmar. These projects demonstrate the company’s execution capabilities across distributed C&I, solar-plus-storage carports and larger integrated energy applications.

Building the infrastructure for reliable delivery
The same emphasis on local execution is shaping SKYWORTH Solar’s delivery model in Europe, where Germany and Italy are the company’s priority markets. Its German operations are supported by local warehousing, logistics coverage designed to deliver across the country within 48 to 72 hours, and an end-to-end delivery process built around a 14-day cycle.
The company is also working with JD WORLDWIDE Joybuy to advance warehousing cooperation in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets while exploring further supply-chain opportunities in Europe.

“Global growth is not defined by the number of markets entered, but by the ability to deliver reliable and support customers over time,” said Qu Wanfei, Executive President of SKYWORTH Solar. “Our focus in 2026 is to connect teams, partners, inventory and service in each priority market- and then make those capabilities easier for customers to access through digital channels.”
Extending from PV to full-scenario energy solutions
SKYWORTH Solar is broadening its international offering from distributed PV development to a portfolio spanning residential rooftop solar, SolaMate balcony PV, commercial and industrial systems, utility-scale projects, energy storage and smart energy management. Rather than treating these as separate product categories, SKYWORTH Solar is developing solutions that connect energy generation, storage, consumption and digital operations around the needs of each market.
A commercial solar-plus-storage retrofit for a long-established resort hotel in Germany illustrates how this approach works in practice. Scheduled for completion in mid-August, the project combines 112.05 kWp of PV capacity with a 112.6 kWh energy storage system. Its design is costs, and accommodate the property’s load profile and retrofit conditions.

The company’s digital energy platform provides the operating layer for this transition. According to company operating data, the platform is compatible with 99% of mainstream equipment communication protocols, maintains a work-order closure rate of more than 99%, and can improve power generation by 5% to 10% through data-driven monitoring and optimized operations and maintenance.
At the utility-scale end of the portfolio, construction began in July on a 300 MW/600 MWh standalone energy storage project in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province. The project adds a large-scale storage dimension to SKYWORTH Solar’s capabilities in capital coordination, engineering delivery and integrated energy infrastructure development.
Next phase: From Market Presence to End-Customer Access
SKYWORTH Solar will continue to concentrate its overseas resources on Europe and Southeast Asia during the remainder of 2026. The next phase will focus on not only on expanding the range of residential energy solutions available in these markets, but also on creating a more direct and efficient path from product discovery and purchase to local fulfillment and after-sales support.
In Europe, led by Germany and Italy, SKYWORTH Solar will continue expanding its residential solutions portfolio and online market access. Its cooperation with Joybuy will connect digital retail reach with localized logistics and service capabilities. The SolaMate Balcony solar solution is expected to launch on Joybuy in Germany on August 15, providing a new entry point for European households and building momentum for the company’s broader residential energy offering.
Across Southeast Asia, SKYWORTH Solar plans to progressively establish localized social media accounts and official stores on major e-commerce platforms. By linking online traffic and lead generation with the agent, installer and service networks already developed in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, the company aims to build a more complete online-to-offline customer journey.
For SKYWORTH Solar, the next phase of international expansion will therefore be measured not simply by the number of new markets entered, but by the strength of the local operating loop in each priority market—from products and channels to delivery, service and long-term customer relationships.
