SKYWORTH Solar’s Thailand Xtreme Project Officially Goes Live: Turning Every Rooftop Into Long-Term Value

As the global energy transition continues to accelerate, distributed commercial and industrial (C&I) solar is rapidly evolving from a simple “energy-saving solution” into a long-term business asset. Recently, SKYWORTH Solar’s Xtreme 47.12kWp C&I rooftop solar project in Thailand was successfully completed and officially commissioned, marking the project’s transition from the construction phase into a new cycle of stable power generation and continuous returns.

As an important milestone in SKYWORTH Solar’s expansion of green energy solutions in Thailand’s commercial and industrial sector, the project not only provides local businesses with a more efficient and cost-effective clean energy solution, but also contributes valuable practical experience for the implementation of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model in Thailand’s C&I market.

Official Commissioning Marks the Start of Continuous Green Energy Value

Located in Chachoengsao Province, Thailand, the Xtreme project has a total installed capacity of 47.12kWp. The system is equipped with a 40kW three-phase inverter and SKYWORTH Solar’s high-efficiency 620W PV modules, ensuring stable and efficient power generation even under Southeast Asia’s high-temperature climate conditions through a high-quality system configuration.

According to project estimates, the system is expected to generate approximately 65,807 kWh of electricity in its first year. With the project now officially operational, this figure is no longer just part of the planning stage, but is becoming tangible and measurable energy savings and economic benefits for the business.

For enterprises, this represents not only optimized electricity costs, but also a gradual transition toward a lower-carbon, more efficient, and more sustainable energy structure.

PPA Model Creates a Smarter Energy Investment Path for Businesses

The project adopts the PPA business model, under which SKYWORTH Solar is responsible for system investment, construction, and operation & maintenance. The project owner requires no upfront investment and can directly purchase rooftop-generated electricity at a price lower than the local utility rate, achieving electricity cost savings from the very first month of operation.

Throughout the PPA contract period, SKYWORTH Solar manages system performance and maintenance, while the owner simply consumes the green electricity at the agreed rate. Once the contract ends, the entire solar system will be transferred to the owner free of charge, allowing all future power generation revenues to belong entirely to the owner.

The project was jointly delivered by SKYWORTH Solar and a local Thai installer partner. Based on the system lifecycle assessment, the project is expected to generate more than 900,000 kWh of electricity over the next 15 years, helping the owner save approximately THB 900,000 in electricity costs during the contract period — averaging around THB 60,000 annually. Without any upfront investment, the owner can begin enjoying these long-term energy benefits from the very first month of operation.

Deepening Presence in Thailand and Advancing C&I Green Transformation

As one of Southeast Asia’s key manufacturing and commercial markets, Thailand’s electricity pricing structure and growing energy transition demand are continuing to accelerate the adoption of distributed solar solutions. The successful operation of the Xtreme project marks another important step in SKYWORTH Solar’s expansion in Thailand’s C&I market, while also providing a practical green energy reference case for local enterprises.

By combining high-efficiency products, systematic project delivery capabilities, and mature business models, SKYWORTH Solar is helping C&I solar evolve from simply “completing installation” to truly “delivering value,” enabling businesses to reduce operating costs while advancing their ESG goals and long-term energy strategies.

Moving forward, SKYWORTH Solar will continue leveraging its global vision and localized execution capabilities to further strengthen its integrated “Solar + Energy Storage + Smart Energy Management” solutions for commercial and industrial applications, driving the steady deployment of more overseas projects. Through efficient clean energy systems and sustainable business models, SKYWORTH Solar remains committed to supporting enterprises’ evolving energy needs and accelerating green development — transforming every ray of sunlight into lasting value.
